Despite The Ankara Agreement (1963) establishing an "Association" between the EEC and Turkey accession to the community has not occurred. Nevertheless, decisions made under the agreement have potential to affect Turkish nationals within EC states - this article focuses on the applicability of the agreement to residence rights and issues for Turkish nationals in the UK.
