European migration policies for the nineties after the Maastricht Summit

Title
European migration policies for the nineties after the Maastricht Summit
Description
Examines the implications on migration issues of the Maastricht Treaty, the approval at Maastricht of the European Council report on immigration and asylum policies and the EFTA European Economic Area Agreement. Sees these events as heralding increased cooperation between EC member states in migration issues, a lack of adequate openness and accountability in these matters and a formation of policy by EC member states which will define policy throughout Europe (i.e.. encompassing non EC Member states).
